| Whatever Happened To Actor Pauly Shore?
Comedian Pauly Shore was best known as
the MTV VJ back in 1991. He was the host of MTV's network's video
show Totally Pauly. He was born on February 1, 1968 in Hollywood
California His parents are the founders of "The Comedy Store" which is
a legendary Comedy club.
While growing up, Pauly Shore got to see
the acts of Jay Leno, Robin Williams, and many other successful stand up
comedians. Unfortunately his parents split up and his mother took over
the "The Comedy Store." When Shore was just 17 years old he started
doing stand up comedy, and he also shortly after that did small parts in
movies.
He really got noticed when he starred in
"Encino Man" in 1992. The year after that he also starred in the comedy
"Son in Law," which did not do as well. In 1997 he got his own show
on Fox called "Pauly." However the show was only around for one season.
After this, Shore decided to take some time off and just stay at home and
work on his house.
In the last several years he has spent
a lot of time doing stand up comedy and appeared in a video for Limp Bizkit.
His most recent work is directing the movie "You'll Never Wiez in This
Town Again," which came out earlier this year and is about how he tries
to fake his own death to become popular. |
