Lisa Whelchel also known as Blair from "The Facts Of Life" was one of the favorites of many from this popular sitcom.  She was born on May 29, 1963 in Fort Worth, Texas.  Lisa started out as a Mouseketeer in the Mickey Mouse Club.  She had always wanted to be an actress.  

After the show ended in 1988 Lisa Whelchel starred in a movie called "Where the Red Fern Grows: Part 2" in 1992.  She also did a made for T.V. movie, "The Facts Of Life Reunion" in 2001.

Lisa Whelchel now lives in Santa Clarita, CA with her husband who is a minister.  She has three children, Clancy, Tucker, and Haven.  She has no intention to go back to acting and stays home with her children.  She is very active in the church and has also released a gospel album called, "All Because Of You."  In June of 2000 Lisa Whelchel also released a book called "Creative Correction," which talks about child discipline.
