Justine Bateman is best known for her role in Family Ties as Mallory Keaton.  She is the daughter of a father who is a film producer and a mother who is a flight attendant.  She is also the sister of actor Jason Bateman.  Her acting career started at the age of eleven, and she appeared in various theatrical productions.   Justine suffered from anorexia nervosa and bulimia for 10 years.  This was during her days starring in Family Ties.  She has now recovered and is a born again Christian. After the end of the TV sitcom Justine became a camp counselor part time in the early 90's for the YMCA in Los Angeles.

Justine Bateman has been employed steadily over the last decade.  She has done movies such as The Closer in 1991, and the comedy "The Night We Never Met" in 1993.  In 1996 she also was in four episodes of Lois & Clark.  Her latest movie was Kiss And Tell which was released in 1999.

She is a certified scuba diver, a licensed pilot and now drives around in a 1970's "Muscle Car."  Her most recent project is in the fashion industry and is now a fashion designer.  Her clothes are designed under the name Bad Baby Boy.  Celebrities such as Gwen Stefanai and Christina Aguilera have been seen with the clothes from her line.  She is currently residing in Los Angeles and says  she has no intentions of going back to acting and wants to concentrate on her fashion design business.
