Actress Judith Light was born an only child in Trenton, New Jersey in 1950.  She spent her childhood attending performing arts camps and did a lot of theater work.  A few years after graduating from University, Light landed a role on the popular soap opera "One Life To Live."  She won two Emmy awards and other awards for her portrayal of Karen Wolek.

Light is best known for her role as Angela Bower on the popular 80's sitcom "Who’s the Boss" with Tony Danza.  The series lasted for an incredible 8 years.

Since then Light has done TV movies and performing theater productions.  Most recently Light has returned from a 100-mile wilderness trek in South Africa.  The trek was part of her AIDS causes.  Since the end of "Who's The Boss", Light has been heavily involved in Human Rights and AIDs work.

Recently she has been doing a reoccurring role on the popular TV show "Law and Order."
