Culkin (Home Alone)
Macaulay Culkin was one of the most famous
child stars ever. He was born on August 26, 1980 in New York, New
York. Culkin entered the showbiz industry at just four years of age.
His father Christopher Culkin was his manager. He started off doing
Broadway shows such as "The Nutcracker."
As he got older he started appearing in
movies and hit it big when he starred in John Hughes, "Home Alone," in
1990. Culkin got picked out of the 200 or so kids that were interviewed
for the part. The movie ended up grossing more than $285 million
just in the United States alone, and made Culkin a huge movie star.
After the huge blockbuster, Culkin did
many other movies such as "My Girl," "Home Alone 2: Lost in New York,"
"The Good Son," and "Richie Rich." Macaulay went through a tough
time when his parents, which never got married, started a huge custody
battle over their children, and Macaulay's huge fortune. Macaulay
did not do any movies in 1996, and said he would not, until his parents
got everything settled.
Culkin got married in 1998 to actress Rachel
Miner. They however ended up separating because Rachel wanted to
start a family and Macaulay wanted to get back into acting.
In the future, Macaulay Culkin is said
to star in the 2003 movie, "Party Monster." he currently lives in
