Whatever Happened To Actor Macaulay Culkin (Home Alone)

Macaulay Culkin was one of the most famous child stars ever.  He was born on August 26, 1980 in New York, New York.  Culkin entered the showbiz industry at just four years of age.  His father Christopher Culkin was his manager.  He started off doing Broadway shows such as "The Nutcracker."

As he got older he started appearing in movies and hit it big when he starred in John Hughes, "Home Alone," in 1990.  Culkin got picked out of the 200 or so kids that were interviewed for the part.  The movie ended up grossing more than $285 million just in the United States alone, and made Culkin a huge movie star.

After the huge blockbuster, Culkin did many other movies such as "My Girl," "Home Alone 2: Lost in New York," "The Good Son," and "Richie Rich."  Macaulay went through a tough time when his parents, which never got married, started a huge custody battle over their children, and Macaulay's huge fortune.  Macaulay did not do any movies in 1996, and said he would not, until his parents got everything settled.

Culkin got married in 1998 to actress Rachel Miner.  They however ended up separating because Rachel wanted to start a family and Macaulay wanted to get back into acting.

In the future, Macaulay Culkin is said to star in the 2003 movie, "Party Monster."  he currently lives in New York
