I live in a family of 7 seven children and absolutely apall the idea of birth control. It should be banned and someday I will get it banned.

And 89 years later, we still choose to revel in ignorance. So much for humanity. Namast?, Len

If you read a complete biography about her, you will find that she also favored the sterilization of blacks and the mentally handicapped.

Birth control is voluntary not mandatory. Why would you care what I want to do with my uterus, assuming, of course, that I even have one at all.

I totally agree with chanelle2293, what year do we live in to think something like that? Some people for example take birth control pills for other reasons then preventing pregnancy. My aunt takes it to help for her disease which will eventually kill her. I take the pill since I am 15 and I am proud to take it! We are all lucky enough to live in a society where we have the CHOICE about what we do. I chose to take the pill whereas other people don't want it and that's fine. Perhaps being opened minded would help a bit?

chrisking47, are seriously saying that your going to get BIRTH CONTROL banned and that you don't believe in it because you have a big family ? you have to be kidding me. have you even though through what would happen if you actually went through with that ? (not that you will, you'll be laughed out of any place you suggest it). Clearly you haven't. Did you go to high school? It doesn't seem like it, so let me inform you. the year is 2008, and most people over 15 are having sex. do you want fifteen year olds having kids, knowing that they would never practice abstinence? Another question - have you ever talked to a teenager after having a doctors appointment? Have you noticed that everyone is teaching kids to have safe sex with birth control instead of abstinence? teenagers thinking they know everything aside, what about people who don't want kids but want to be intimate? Even with birth control there's always the chance of pregnancy. Now, we know that people in this year - 2008 - are not going to practice abstinence. Have you noticed a problem in the world lately? Hmm... maybe we're over populating. I wonder what would happen if we took away birth control... like, really. How ignorant can you get?
