Every 25 miles a car produces one pound of pollution.

By Jackster 168 Days AgoRemember the hysterical "disappearing ozone layer" that has cost us billions of dollars in the U.S. because we cannot use freon anymore? Well, since it turns out the characteristics of the ozone layer are dependent upon the temperature of the oceans, that chicken little group has certainly gone silent. Remember how we lost the single most effective and SAFE pesticide because of one hysterical woman making false claims? How the sugar industry was able to kill the only SAFE and tasty artificial sweetener by using "doctored" tests from their own labs? Wake up people!!! We need to get control back for our own lives by taking responsibility for our own choices and actions. Take the control back from the government at all levels... they only have it because we let them take it, even though they are neither entitled to it nor legally possess it.
By Jackster 168 Days AgoNo one can agree on what constitutes "pollution" from the tailpipe. Al Gore claims the figure is 1 pound per mile driven, one website says 1 pound per 25 miles, some calculations give 0.69 pounds per mile. Yet, CO2 is not "pollution" and that is what constitutes over 98%of what comes out of the tailpipe. In case you have forgotten, plants thrive on CO2, and give off oxygen as a result. Even during the last 150 years we have been able to identify that vegetation in the U.S. has increased as more people appeared and then as cars appeared. You want pollution, use a horse or an ox. The whole CO2 is "pollution" crap stems from left-wing environmentalists wanting to control what other people can and cannot do. Notice they have abandoned "global warming" as an issue and gone to "climate change". When it became apparent we were in a DEFINITE 8 year cooling period and the warmest years in recorded history were prior to World War II, even the British courts agreed Al Gore's book had at least eleven major errors or lies, depending on your perspective. Since the temperature of the earth, Mars, and Venus track closely, it is obvious that mere man has little or no effect on the climate.
