My baseball team was eating breakfast at BWI airport when we saw Bill Ripken walk by. After breakfast I was walking to my terminal and it turned out Bill was on our flight to Orlando. I asked him about the card-wondering who played the trick on him. He said that he actually wrote F*ck Face on the knob of that bat himself. He said he got about 6 news bats and that particular bat was super sturdy but was too heavy to use in a game so he decided to use it as his batting practice bat. He said he came out of the batting cage and the photographer took his picture. Bill had forgotten he had that on the end of his bat. He said he wrote his uniform number on the knob of his other bats and wrote the obscenity to distinguish it from the others.
