Lived in Asia for almost 19 years and happy not to tip. The money saved by not tipping really adds up. Americans are greedy sob's when it comes to this so when home in the states never tip. Nor willI go to a place that adds a service charge since this is an added tip and do not like it.

Yeah right, maybe youre not woth being tipped, but i have been a barman in Belgium for 3 years and have been tipped at least 4 times a night....

There's no tipping in a lot of countries. If I payed the taxes Scandinavians did, I wouldn't be tipping either.

I'm new here since today and i found tons of "amusing" facts that seem to be wrong, uncomplete and just not thought about, I must say it's frustrating.
Btw in iceland it's considered an insult when you tip, here (Belgium) people usually don't tip either.
