    Crayola: - Cray: in french it's "craie" which is a chalk. "Ola' is supposedly derived from the french word "olea" but beeing a native french and master in the domain I can say that this word dosen't exist in any french dictionnaries. It just sounds a little bit like "oily" when you pronounce it that's all.

    Crayola is not a french word The closest resemblence could be the 'Cray' in Crayola that sounds like Craie, but oil in french is huile wich could very very vaguely be associated with ol' But crayola cannot be found in any french dictionary
