    Err, is'nt the sun doing that trick allready WAY further away??? And exactly how big should the diameter this light beam be, and how many lumen. And do you know that this trick is not even hard to pull of?

    The Hubble Telescope doesn't point beams of light. This analogy doesn't make sense.
