Is that the Old Testament? Many animals were considered "unclean" such as pigs. I believe that the New Testament washes (pun intended) this restriction away.

regarding the comment about everything being 'clean' now...nowhere in the Bible does it state that all foods are 'clean'. Read Mark 5:17.
