Yes, and if they checked 98% of the murders in the US would be by people who could or did not own a gun legally! these cowards would not attemp to kill someone else with a gun either.

it doesnt matter if guns were to be banished, people would still kill each other, it doesnt take just a gun to do that, and i think a law should be passed that says a person must go under psyhcological testing before buying a handgun, it might not be 100% perfect, because most people who by guns dont plan on killing people, but there are people who buy guns for that reason and it would be sensible to see if youre giving a handgun to a madman. but the sad part is anyone can get a gun off the street....plus you cant compare the statistics of deaths here to japan! Japan is a way smaller country! hence very less people, duhh!
